Kent Murawski & Gina Murawski/Lead Pastors

Kent Murawski/Lead Pastor & Visionary - Kent grew up in a small town of 900 people called, Eldred, Pennsylvania.  He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 with a B.S. in Conservation Biology and a minor in Geology and has worked in both the professional and ministry worlds. He is an ordained minister through Elim Fellowship – a world-wide network of churches, ministers, missionaries, and ministries.  He served as the Executive Director of BASIC College Ministries from 2004-2009, leading a network of over 30 campus ministries across the Northeast.  Kent has also served as a youth pastor, college and young adult pastor, worship leader and now as a lead pastor.   The Murawskis moved to Cambridge, MA in 2009 to start and pastor Journey Church.  Kent’s desire is to see a great move of God in his generation among young and old.

Gina Murawski / Worship & Arts - Gina is a wife, mother, and gifted lead worshiper.  She attended Elim Bible institute for one year and is now a stay at home mom to their two wonderful children.  She has a heart to see God exalted among women and among this generation and currently serves as the director of creative arts at the Journey.  Her worship is passionate and soulful in its expression; allowing others to easily connect with God.

Kelly Steinhaus/Compassion & Outreach Director

In 2011, Kelly became the first leader to surface out of The Journey.  She has an incredible heart for people and directs our compassion and outreach ministry – ministering to the needs of others in our city and acting as a touch point to our community and other churches in the city.  Kelly was instrumental in helping to found Unite Boston in 2010 which has now grown to include dozens of churches and ministries all seeking to unite the body of Christ in and around Boston.

Provisional Eldership Team

Because we are a new church, we do not yet have elders from The Journey.  A provisional elder board has been formed in order to make directional decisions until we are able to train and install elders.  Here is the provisional eldership team:

Chris Wood

Chris and Joan Wood are the pastors of Zion Fellowship in Canandaigua, NY which sent out Kent and Gina in 2009 to plant Journey Church.  Chris has been in ministry for over 25 years.  He also serves as Kent’s pastor and as an area representative for Elim Fellowship – the network of churches that Journey Church calls home.

Mike Rondeau

Mike is the pastor of Full Gospel Center in Southbridge, MA.  He is also the Elim area representative for Eastern Massachusetts.
