We are a community of disciple-makers. What is a disciple-maker you ask? It’s simple. We are called to be disciples who make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples…you get the idea.
Jesus told us as much, (it’s called the Great Commission),
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV)
What Is the Disciple-Makers Gathering?
Disciple-Makers is a monthly gathering of like-hearted people who want to grow both in becoming a disciple/follower of Christ and making disciples of Christ. It’s an extension of our Discover Experience. We do three things on these evenings.
- Share testimonies and struggles to support and learn from one another
- Equip and encourage people to continue the discipleship journey
- Act on what we learn and hold each other accountable
