“If God be near a church , it must pray. And if he be not there, one of the first tokens of his absence will be a slothfulness in prayer”. Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Why Pray?
God has given us a mandate: that everything we do is to be birthed in prayer, bathed in prayer, and sustained and advanced through prayer. Far more than a rote practice, our desire is to build a culture of prayer.
Prayer is an essential part of who we are as people and as a community. We believe prayer is one of the most powerful forces there is. After all, why would God ask us to pray if it had no effect?
The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT)

Wednesday is also our weekly day of prayer and fasting. Abstain from a meal, several meals, social media, or however God may lead you and fill it with Him!
